Biography

Tom Lofthouse is Senior Vice President, Head of Creative for Discovery Digital Networks (DDN), Discovery Communications’ portfolio of web-native networks. In this position, he oversees the program development and affiliate relations for DDN’s portfolio, which includes Seeker and SourceFed.

Lofthouse holds more than 10 years of digital media experience in programming, production, online and channel management. Prior to joining Revision3 as Vice President of Programming and Production in 2011, he served as Director of Programming and On-Air Presentation for the Emmy Award®-winning Current TV, where he managed day-to- day studio production and focused on strategic channel planning and management – including the launch of Current UK in England and Ireland.

Earlier in his career, Lofthouse served as a Program Manager for Disney as well as Head of Program Planning for Extreme Sports Channel, where he helped double the channel’s ratings in his first sixmonths. He is also one of the original founders for School of Humans branded entertainment.

Lofthouse is based in Discovery’s San Francisco office.
