Chris Defendis

Chris Defendis is Vice President of Domestic Distribution for WarnerMedia responsible for HBO, Cinemax, and the rest of the WarnerMedia portfolio of networks. In this role, Chris works closely with WarnerMedia’s distribution partners to develop strategic initiatives to increase subscriptions, drive engagement with their brands, and enhance the overall value to the customer.

Over his career, which began in 2001, Chris has held a variety of positions within HBO’s distribution group. Over that time, HBO has experienced historic and unprecedented subscriber, revenue, and engagement growth.

Chris graduated with a degree in Management from the University of Dayton and received his MBA from DePaul University in Chicago.
