Cara Lewis

As the Executive Vice President, Managing Director of Video Investment for Amplifi US, the global investment platform for Dentsu Aegis Network, Cara oversees video strategy and investment across all screens and devices on behalf of all Network clients in the US market. In her role, she is tasked with the development of innovative, consistent and salable buying and investment capabilities and is responsible for more than $4B in annual video spending across auto, QSR, finance, travel, packaged goods, pharmaceutical, and technology brands. 

Cara joined Dentsu Aegis Network in 2010, leading video investment and activation for the Pfizer Pharmaceuticals account for three years. She was promoted to Senior Vice President, Group Director in 2013 and led the General Motors National Video Activation team for four years before expanding her remit to oversee all media spend on behalf of General Motors. Her media career spans 21+ years, with five years of DTC experience between two of the biggest Pharmaceutical Companies (Pfizer and Glaxo SmithKline). Cara also has a strong background in packaged goods and retail, working on the SC Johnson and Sears business for over nine years, as well as a handful of travel accounts. Her past agency experience includes MediaEdge, TN, Initiative, and MPG. 

She is a 1999 graduate of West Virginia University, with a B.S. in Journalism and Advertising. Cara has served on the junior board for The Valerie Fund and currently runs sales and promotion for Careoke for the Kids, an industry event in its 14th year. She was also an honoree at Coaches vs Cancer and in November 2019 will be honored at The Valerie Fund Thanksgiving Gala for her participation in Careoke for the Kids. Cara is married to her husband Jake, who also graduated from WVU, and together they have two children, Charley (six) and Budd (three). She is a breast cancer survivor and enjoys the beach, reading, sewing, traveling and most importantly being with her family.
