Biography
Beau Ferrari is Executive Vice President of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, a world-class media company which produces and distributes premium content across a range of broadcast, cable and digital properties in 120 countries. He oversees the company’s operations, financial performance, corporate strategy and development for the portfolio of businesses which includes: the flagship Telemundo television network, Entertainment, Sports, News, Station Group (30 stations), Cable, Digital, Global Studios, International and Films. Ferrari also partners across NBCUniversal’s platforms on strategic initiatives. During his tenure, the company has become one of NBCUniversal’s fastest growing businesses and for the first time in history a top five broadcast network in the country, alongside NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Ferrari held various senior executive positions with Univision Communications Inc., including Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development, where he oversaw strategic planning, acquisitions and growth investments, and Executive Vice President of Operations (COO), where he operated 17 networks, cable, news, sports and digital businesses. Previously, he was co-founder and partner of a private equity investment firm and began his career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley.
Ferrari has been recognized by The Hollywood Reporter and Cablefax 100 and featured as a speaker at Columbia Business School’s Silfen Series. He is a lifetime Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. He has served on the boards of various public and private companies. He is also former Chairman of the Florida Institute, a non-profit organization. Ferrari holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and graduated from Georgetown University, magna cum laude in Finance and International Business.
