Biography

Jason Toney most recently was the Vice President of Business Intelligence for Paramount+ (US) at Paramount Global. He has been instrumental in building the Data Analysis function in streaming and driving the strategic focus on Content and Programming, Subscription Performance and lifecycle Marketing, and Product and Growth/Experimentation Analytics.

Before Paramount Streaming, Jason led Audience Development for CBS Media Ventures’ digital properties, helping to grow Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, and Dr. Phil into some of the largest social media brands on the planet and generating a third of the audience of CBS Interactive, a top seven digital property in the US at the time.

Jason was previously an executive producer of Disney.com and was key in developing and launching the first “after shows” for reality programming at Bunim-Murray Productions, where he led their website and online content production office.

Jason attended George Washinton University in Washington, D.C., where he studied Sociology and Creative Writing. He has also been a regular presenter and mentor at UCLA as an entertainment industry expert for the MSBA program.
