Mike Pears

Pears oversees all third-party digital distribution and content sales at AMC Networks. He is responsible for AMC’s app and hosted subscription channel deals, FAST channel carriage, as well as content licensing and distribution. AMC’s portfolio of ad-supported and ad-free subscription streaming platforms include AMC+, Acorn TV, ALLBLK, Shudder, and HIDIVE. AMC Networks operates 20 curated FAST channels carried on 11 partner platforms, and more than 100 channel feeds, and licenses its award-winning content to over 180 broadcasters and streaming services around the world. FAST channels include The Walking Dead Universe Channel, Stories by AMC, Reality by WE tv, BBC News, Anime by HIDIVE, and Scares by Shudder. A 25-year-plus digital media distribution veteran, Pears joined AMC in 2014 from Cinedigm (now Cine-verse), where he served as VP of digital sales after six years of building and running the digital distribution business at Vivendi Entertainment. Previously, Pears held various executive roles in the music business.
