Biography
Marshall Zelaznik is the Chief Executive Officer of Esports Engine, a Vindex company. In his role, Zelaznik leads an experienced team of executives across all efforts as they operate the world’s top esports leagues and produce a range of gaming content. Zelaznik’s duties consist of overseeing the rollout of new technologies, as well as live event production and broadcasts for Esports Engine’s portfolio of partners, including many of the top game publishers, brands, and other key stakeholders, such as Microsoft, Nintendo, Twitch, Activision, and more.
Zelaznik is a senior global sports, media, and content executive with experience growing highly-successful sports media properties. Zelaznik’s background consists of a 10-year tenure overseeing the global growth and expansion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) through the opening of UFC offices in China, Canada, the UK, Brazil, and Singapore. He also led the international event expansion, development, and management of UFC Fight Pass, UFC’s subscription streaming platform; all of which led up to the company’s $4.3 billion acquisition by Endeavor in April 2021. Previously, Zelaznik served as the CEO of Glory Sports International, as well as the Global Head of Business Development & Content for Activision Blizzard, where he played a key role in the launch of the Overwatch League.
Zelaznik holds a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
